US Marine Corps Critical Area Protection System
HiRSA™ Case Study

Project
We deployed HIRSA at the US Marines Corps forward operating base at Camp Fallujah, Iraq, in 2004. The goal was to protect crucial land-based assets.
Solution
Persistent Sentinel developed HiRSA™ (High Resolution Situational Awareness) that combines intelligent-agent software technology with existing security system backbones to produce a fully integrated force protection system.
UNIQUENESS OF SENTINELNET
- HiRSA fuses information from multiple surveillance and security sensors and data sources to produce a common operating picture for security operations center personnel.
- HiRSA operates as a networked, distributed system with a centralized command center node. It automatically evaluates and distributes critical information as tailored Warning, Caution, Advisory messages.
- • HiRSA also supplies recommended courses of action to decision makers and provides task lists for each-level of the operations team.
HiRSA Advantages
Increased operator efficiency and better security
Intuitive to operate, reducing training costs
Easy integration
of new or existing sensors/systems reduces installation costs
Sensor placement planner for optimal coverage
for optimal coverage
Tailored decision support
for better, quicker responses
Persistent video surveillance
with Network Video Recorder (NVR) and database for event reconstruction
“ Extraordinarily professional is very effective and very good situational awareness.”
